Richard Brown, a resident of Winston's Charlotte office and a partner in the firm's finance practice, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers ("the College").
The College was founded by a group of lawyers active on the Commercial Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. One of the primary goals of the College is the recognition of those individuals who have not only attained a high degree of skill in the field of law, but who have helped others in the field by sharing their knowledge.
This prestigious honor comes on the heels of Mr. Brown's appointment to be Co-Chair of the ABA Business Law Section Syndications and Lender Relations Subcommittee in late 2008.
Mr. Brown concentrates his practice in the corporate lending area, with a primary focus on syndicated credit facilities, asset-based financing, and other secured financing transactions, as well as equipment finance and leasing, bank treasury services, and letter of credit transactions.
This prestigious honor will be celebrated at the College's Fellows 2010 Annual Meeting and Dinner on Saturday, April 24, 2010. The dinner will be head at Restaurant Kevin Taylor at the Hotel Teatro in Denver, Co.
